Jarvis Charity News:

Staunton on Wye Youth Club is supported by a grant from the Jarvis Charities and is open to all children aged 10-16 years old and would welcome members from our parishes.

The club meets in Staunton-on-Wye Village Hall between 7pm and 9pm on the following dates:
2023: 12th May, 23rd June, 14th July, 11th August, 15th September, 13th October, 10th
November, 8th December
2024: 12th January, 8th February, with more dates to follow.

The cost for each attendance between May and August inclusive is £3. You should also take some small change for ‘tuck shop’ and hot chocolate. There is unlimited squash.

FREE Suicide Prevention Training for Herefordshire & Worcestershire:

As part of the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Suicide Prevention Programme, Worcestershire County Council are pleased to announce funded Suicide Prevention Training for anyone working or living in Herefordshire or Worcestershire supporting over 18s. The training is being delivered by Andrew Lewis from Herefordshire & Worcestershire Group Training Association (HWGTA). 

The training is a three hour online session aimed to improve skills and confidence to support someone and guide them to the help they need. At the end of the training session, all participants will have the option to sign up to the Orange Button Community Scheme.

Herefordshire Wildlife Trust Sturts North – a nature reserve within Kinnersley parish.
